The Division's catchment is portrayed by an inner urban residential/industrial sector with the southern reaches of Werribee being a fringe semi-rural growth corridor. Wyndham is projected to be the third fastest growing Melbourne municipality, with a rate of growth marginally below that of Casey and Cardinia with a significant lack of services and infrastructure. Proportionately higher growth projected in the older age groups in both Hobsons Bay and Wyndham.
