Good governance means the values, policies and procedures adopted by an organisation will be used to guide and manage that organisation in an ethical, transparent and accountable manner. Good governance begins with competent Boards who understand their roles and responsibilities and flows through to identifying organisational strengths and weaknesses, building on areas of strength and appropriately addressing areas of weaknesses.
